Lesson
All the leaves shiver, all the lives tremble. The soldiers were taught to fight
The priest to lead the soul for flight
The students in school were taught to ride the ‘Street Car Named Desire’
They wished and they wished till
The threshold opened to the College Days
New opening, new writeouts, knew how the hour slays
Long after the working rife
Entered a retired soul, greeted with sonorous fife
The legends said that the teacher once taught
How to garland the mortal life…..
